Be Smart with Your Money

These tips can help you save money—and be smart when you spend it:

  1. Put money in your credit union savings account as often as you can.

  2. Don’t borrow money unless you REALLY need to!

  3. Go shopping with your parents and pay attention to how much things cost.

  4. Learn the difference between things you need (such as food) and things you want (such as a game).

  5. Write down how much money you have saved. Then you will know if you are reaching your saving goals.
